A bit hidden from the street but well situated on the beach in the Center of
Votsalakia and only a few meters across the street from Taverna
Evinos and Studios Elvamar lay's a very popular place, the Kalivi
Beach Cafe. There is a long list from what you can find there, beginning
with the only Internet Access in town, Pool Billiard
on the beach and a four by four meter Trampoline. |

You can exchange or borrow Books here, have a Sandwich
and a cold Beer, fresh tapped. A verity of beers from Germany
or Greece, cool Cocktails and Refreshments are
available. For any big sport event there is a big TV waiting
for you to enjoy. If you'd just like to spend your day on the beach,
there are Sun Beds to rent or there is also enough space
without sun beds. Backgammon and Chess or Card Games
or even Boules, are also to be found here.
Most important though, is the source of information you can get here. Just ask
the staff for good tips, they'll help you out. If you need more
information about walking up to the monastery Evangelistria, the
Cave of Pythagoras or
even to the top of Mount Kerkis
for example.>

After dark and after your dinner, why not go and have a look at the Kalivi
Beach Cafe? At 10.30 pm every night, there is a fantastic fire show
going on. That is, if permitted by the wind. We don't want anybody
go up in flames here. :-) It is a nice place to chill out and relax.
The music is always good and comes out of a library of about 30'000
songs.
Friendly staff is serving your drinks even down to the beach. Languages are
no problem at all. There is always a way to communicate.
The atmosphere is a bit Thailand orientated and a lot different to any other place
nearby. |
